Good questions

The things people always ask

Everything we get asked on the showroom floor, answered plainly. If yours isn't here, just call or message — we like a good rug question.

Every rug is priced for its exact grade and size, so the right number depends on the piece and the size you need. Message us the rug and your room and we'll come straight back with real options and a real price. It's an enquiry, never a hard sell.

Yes. We deliver across Melbourne from our Dandenong showroom and ship to every state in Australia. Tell us your suburb or state when you enquire and we'll confirm delivery and any freight cost up front. See our delivery page for detail.

Our sizing guide has the numbers, but the short version: in a living room, the front legs of your sofa should sit on the rug. Bring your measurements in and we'll lay the real thing out for you.

Reeds count how finely a rug is woven: higher means crisper detail, a denser pile and a longer life. 700 is beautiful accessible value, 1200 is our house favourite, and 1500 is heirloom grade. Our quality guide explains it in full.

Our Persian rugs are woven in Iran on precision looms that reproduce classic designs in fine detail, giving you the look, density and longevity of a traditional rug at a price a family can live with. Our toshak and majlis sets are handmade to order in our Dandenong workshop.

Often, yes. Ask us about seeing a piece in your own light, and at the very least we'll help you view it in daylight and send detail shots and video. We'd always rather you were sure.

We do. We speak Farsi and Dari as well as English, so you're welcome to come in and talk rugs in your own language, with a warm welcome and no rush.

Very little, honestly: a gentle vacuum, an annual turn, sun kept in check and spills blotted quickly. Our care guide covers the whole routine.
